Partnership, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA, in the voting rights in
Pfeiffer Vacuum Technology AG, Berliner Straße 43, 35614 Asslar,
Germany, amounted to more than of 15%. On that date, Artisan Partners
Limited Partnership held 15.02% in relation to all voting rights in
Pfeiffer Vacuum Technology AG (voting rights arising from 1,347,432
ordinary shares (Stammaktien); Pfeiffer Vacuum Technology AG has
issued ordinary shares only).

All voting rights in Pfeiffer Vacuum Technology AG were attributed to
Artisan Partners Limited Partnership pursuant to section 22 (1)
sent. 1 no. 6 WpHG. Of such voting rights, 8.93% (voting rights
arising from 801,378 ordinary shares (Stammaktien)) were voting

Germany, amounted to more than 15%. On that date, Artisan Investment
Corporation held 15.02% in relation to all voting rights in Pfeiffer
Vacuum Technology AG (voting rights arising from 1,347,432 ordinary
shares (Stammaktien); Pfeiffer Vacuum Technology AG has issued
ordinary shares only).

All voting rights in Pfeiffer Vacuum Technology AG were attributed to
Artisan Investment Corporation pursuant to section 22 (1) sent. 1
no. 6 in connection with sentences 2 and 3 WpHG. Of such voting
rights, 8.93% (voting rights arising from 801,378 ordinary shares
(Stammaktien)) were voting rights arising from shares held by Artisan
Funds, Inc., and 3.71% (voting rights arising from 333,184 ordinary
